Custom Reiki Crystal Grid Layout #reiki #reikipawcircle

@Robyn Harton made a Reiki Crystal Grid layout for me, Chilipepper. I've been very ill and am enjoying lots of reiki. The extra power from a crystal grid will help lots. Leslie already has a crystal grid but it is nowhere near as nice. Robyn's drawings add a new dimension, creating a resonance with the chakras for advanced healing.

I would order additional stones that are specific to my needs such as Lepidolite, Lapis and Hematite. Robyn is an expert in crystal and stone properties and uses. She can help you with that. The crystals are infused with reiki for extra energy.

Great for setting up a mini crystal Reiki grid to keep in your home or office for blessings of spiritual healing, positive energy, or your other need. Comes with a set of five quartz crystals.

Chilipepper - My Life So Far 2nd Ed. #Chilipawty #panferpawty

I will be 17 years old on May 6, 2014. That's my real birthday.

My mama was feral and Leslie's friend put a box out for her to use for her kittens. Cats are pragmatic, so my mama had me and five more little black squeaks right there in the box.

Leslie brought me and my brofur to this house. She let us pick our names. One day Leslie was using the kitteh-eater machine and the loud roar was so terrible that I ran out and attacked it. "Well aren't you a little chilipepper!" she said. That's how I got my name.

Me and my brofurcat Mr. Spooky, 1997.

The last time I saw my dear brofur he was very sick. He spent a couple days in vetjail and when he came home he didn't know me at first. I caught the biggest vole I could find and gave it to him. Later that day he got bad again. Leslie took him away in the car and he didn't come home ever again. I was very sad.

Two months later someone brought a little grey and white stripeybeast to our house and for some reason Leslie let it stay. The stripeybeast kept pulling my tail and pouncing me and being generally irritating. The stripeybeast is @sisfurcats Bugs Bunny.

A few weeks later I decided my brofur Spooky had simply gotten lost and I went on walkabout. Unfortunately climbing around in the forest snagged my collar in my armpit and cut right to the bone. I hid in the underbrush for days. I could hear Leslie calling me and she even walked right by me but I didn't answer. On the ninth day I decided to go home. My armpit healed up ok, but I didn't talk for months.

The next summer I saw my dear brofur Spooky walking across the field. I was overjoyed to see him! I ran out and gave him a nosetap. Except it wasn't my dear brofur, it was some stranger. I gave him a good hissing! We kittehs have longer memories than you think.

In 2000 Leslie learned reiki and I suddenly realized that humans' laps are very comfortable. Leslie even attuned me! BTW, My furiend Henry @Quadpawd recently started #ReikiPawCircle on twitter and I encourage all Reiki anipals to join. Henry even started a Reiki Paw Circle bloggy.

In 2002 I had a serious medical emergency. One morning when I woke up and dragged myself to the food bowl something didn't seem quite right. My back end was paralyzed! Leslie drove me to University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (VHUP) Neurology/Neurosurgery, doing reiki on me all the way there. The emergency vet drilled a hole in my skull to let the evil spirits out. I was in vetjail for several days. The nice vets there gave me lots of attention and helped cure me. I could walk again but my bumper is very weak.

In 2007 a little black boy cat followed sisfurcat Bugs home. He kind of looked like my dear brofur Spooky. When they brought him in I hissed him around the house to show him who's boss. His name is Mr. Breeze and we get along quite well.

I steal Breeze's toys.

Last year I had another medical emergency. I vomited lots and hid under a chair and wouldn't look at anybody. Leslie thought it might be my time. But instead she took me to VSEC: Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital. It turned out I had pancreatitis. So now I have to take nausea medicine, plus medicine for hyperthyroid plus sometimes pain medicine. I have special food but I won't eat it so I get expensive canned food. My kidneys are failing so Leslie now gives me subcutaneous fluids.

Patchwork Kitteh, June 2013

I have good days and bad days. But I have humans who love me and always do what is best for their kittehs.

Poison Ivy

I'm sure you recognize the shiny leaves. It's poison ivy. Perhaps you found it in a handful of weeds as you gardened. Perhaps you brushed against it while strolling in you local wildlife center. Maybe... Maybe your CAT rubbed it on your face! HISSSSS

How do we cats do that? Easy. According to the John Hopkins University Student Health and Wellness Center, only humans and other primates are sensitive to the nastiness in poison ivy, a chemical called urushiol.

According to Mohan JE, et al, at the Department of Biology, Duke University, climate change may make poison ivy into a bigger problem for you. We already know that CO2 stimulates growth in plants. Mohan says, '... high-CO2 plants produce a more allergenic form of urushiol. Our results indicate that Toxicodendron taxa will become more abundant and more "toxic" in the future, potentially affecting global forest dynamics and human health'.

Isn't Death a Form of Cruelty?

Another stone-cold predator:

What would you think about an $35 MILLION a year company that does these horrible things...
  • Preaches animal rights with big public campaigns, while in a van out back they murder animals as fast as they are brought in?
  • Traps and euthanizes feral cats, and BLOCKS laws that would allow Trap, Neuter and Return programs?
  • Takes animals from research facilities, hoarders, etc. and uses them for big publicity fund drives, then quietly euths the animals they supposedly saved?
  • Exhorts members - mostly the very young - to catch outdoor cats (maybe yours!) and take them to the vet to be euthanized?
  • States it has the right to round up and kill cats, even if they are healthy, simply because they "believe" they might suffer someday?
  • Supports pit bull bans despite CDC recommendations to the contrary, and recommends automatic destruction of pit bulls?
  • Sets up displays outside grade schools to traumatize children with NON-age appropriate materials about animal cruelty?
  • Circulates comic books teaching children that their moms and dads are murderers who might kill their own pets?
  • Fails to clarify that ending animal cruelty doesn't equate to saving the lives of animals.

I bet you're writing them a check even as I speak.

Isn't Death a Form of Cruelty?

I was inspired to write this because the Huffington Post FINALLY has taken note. Kudos, guys.
